Job Description


Reporting to the Director, Product & Industry Relations, the Industry Relations Specialist will be responsible for all Industry Relations day to day activities including but not limited to gathering the reporting from the more than 75 preferred partners and preparing analysis, coordinating the partner training calendar of activities for the TDC network, organizing the destination product training, partner conference inclusion. In addition, they will act as liaison between the network and Director of Product & Industry Relations for escalations and communication.

  • Prepare the necessary Business intelligence (reports, dashboards, etc.) and brief the Director for partner negotiations and leadership reviews.
  • Receive contracts from the preferred partners and prepare legal contract roadmaps and other documentation.
  • Manage the finance Sharepoint central contract management tool for the preferred partner signed roadmaps and agreements.
  • Track contract renewals and set the timetable for the Director for renewals.
  • Own the partners content in the network Extranet and ensure that the preferred list of partners is constantly updated for accuracy.
  • Communicate partner information to various departments (operations, finance, training, marketing).
  • Oversee of all training calendar of webinars, partner training academies and TDC partner FAM trips–including registration, communication to the stakeholders, invoicing and other duties as assigned. Work with partners on to determine the best content to focus on for training events based on network feedback.
  • Comprehend partner product to conduct webinars in French where partner needs support.
  • Be the first point of contact on the industry relations team to manage and/or resolve network Customer Service escalations with the preferred partners after all other avenues are exhausted.
  • Involved in contract process with regional Preferred Partners exclusive to Québec.
  • Manage the outstanding receivables with partners when necessary.
  • Act as a resource person for operations team and the preferred partner contacts.

Qualifications
  • Studies in the tourism.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the travel industry.
  • “Customer service” oriented work experience.
  • Autonomous, with exceptional organizational skills, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Bilingualism (French/English), spoken and written, essential.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software.
