Post by Jobing - A large downtown Multiâ€"Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an OR Circulator. Candidate will work with an experienced team, will also communicate with the surgeon and anesthesiologist regarding patient condition, assist with maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory, assess operating room for equipment function and readiness, monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures, and additional functions as needed. * Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. * Minimum one year previous OR experience pre! ferred * Current Arizona License as a Registered Nurse· Curre! nt in BLS, ACLS and/or CNOR preferred.
- Possesses the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. * Possesses the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. * Knowledgeable of facility policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse. * Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
