  • Ability to manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  • Ability to install and repair various equipment and components
  • Be able to follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Form sheet metal using press breaks, rollers, sheer and other machines
  • Use Bridgeport and lathe to drill, bore and mill steel parts

The successful candidate will have the drive to learn new skills and improve their abilities in the following:

1. Knowledge of operational process specs, blueprints, routers, and inspection reports

2. Prepare materials for assembly per router bill of materials

3. Follow instructions and work under direct supervision

4. Safely use and operate basic power/hand tools and inspection tools

a. Grinders, polishers, drills, punches, files, saws etc.

b. Calipers, micrometers, pins, thread gages etc.

5. Sanding and polishing of in process and finished goods

6. Part cleaning with IPA/Acetone

7. Basic knowledge of chemical cleaning applications

8. Cosmetic acceptance criteria of in process and finished goods

9. Torch brazing of wires and adaptors

10. Perform induction brazing per defined process

11. Assemble products and components per process specs, blueprints, routers and inspection reports

12. Part handling and cleanliness requirements

13. In process quality checks and document results

You will be trained in operation and set-up of this equipment and learn to work autonomously in the production of custom components used in our final products. This position is a great starting point for the right candidate to learn valuable skills and progress with a growing company.
