What you will be doing:

  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Reconciles transaction by comparing and correcting data.
  • Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
  • Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis.
  • Creates financial models that forecast the company’s income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Create and maintain three-way forecasts that include income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze cash flow data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create reports that analyze business trends and provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the company.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Develop and implement financial plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and produce reports that meet regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an Australian Financial Analyst.
  • You are an excellent communicator able to give clear written and verbal communication to everyone.
  • You thrive on using your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and solve issues before they arise.
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and prioritization skills and sense of urgency to address critical business issues.
  • You can see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
