What you will be doing:
- Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
- Reconciles transaction by comparing and correcting data.
- Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
- Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis.
- Creates financial models that forecast the company’s income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Create and maintain three-way forecasts that include income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze cash flow data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Create reports that analyze business trends and provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the company.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.
- Develop and implement financial plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain accurate financial records and produce reports that meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Australian Financial Analyst.
- You are an excellent communicator able to give clear written and verbal communication to everyone.
- You thrive on using your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and solve issues before they arise.
- You can work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and prioritization skills and sense of urgency to address critical business issues.
- You can see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
