This position assists physicians and nurses during surgical procedures and in preparation for surgery. The OR utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate the equipment needs of the OR as well as repairs and ongoing tracking of equipment. To ensure that the OR equipment needed is available in order to safely and effectively care for patients.
General Surgery is seeking an OR Tech to work as a member our Surgical Services team in our designated Level 1 trauma center. We do a variety of cases from General, GYN, Urology, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Robotics, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Vascular and Dental. Our 12 newly renovated rooms are spacious and loaded with the state of the art technology (SI & XI robots). The partnership we have developed with our Surgeons and Anesthesiologist has created a culture of "Family" and "Unity". Did you know our team has over 600 years of Operating Room experience? Our team is made up of RNs, Scrub Techs, Equipment Techs, Anesthesia Techs, an Inventory and Coordinator II as well. We are very proud of the work we do and the support we provide.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
HS DIPLOMA/GED
Two years of operating room or surgical instrument processing experience OR certified surgical tech or sterile processing tech required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Surgical Tech Program Graduate
