Description: Tucson Medical Center is employing RN L & D right now, this vacancy will be placed in Arizona. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. We are a 28 bed high risk antepartum and intrapartum unit including 14 LDR beds, 10 antepartum outpatient beds, and 4 preop/postop beds. We care for triage patients; ante-partum patients; intrapartum, and preop and postop patients. We are a staff comprised of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, OB Techs, Patient Care Techs, Unit Associates, MA's and ORAs. We have available wonderful providers and support staff on our unit including 24 hour perinatologists, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists. Our goal is to give safe and compassionate care. We strive to make sure our patients and families have a positive experience in the birth ! of their child.
The RN coordinates patient care planning w! ith other disciplines utilizing the principles of the nursing process and critical thinking skills in order to maintain patient safety and well-being. (Some positions might be assigned to critical care areas requiring specialized training.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE : One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred. L & D experience strongly preferred.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION : Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona required. Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HCP CPR) certificate required.
