MDS RX is a Long Term Care Pharmacy in Western Pennsylvania looking to hire a motivated, full-time REMOTE DATA-ENTRY PHARMACY TECHNICIAN to join our team.
The job functions of the REMOTE DATA-ENTRY PHARMACY TECHNICIAN include, but aren’t limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, family members, and medical professionals working in the nursing facility.
- Communicate with the pharmacy staff to promote productivity and a positive work environment.
- Interpret and transcribe faxed admission orders, new physician orders, and prescriptions to prepare pharmacy label for the pharmacist to verify and dispense.
- Process prescription reorders
- Ability to problem solve and possess organizational skills to maintain continuous workflow through triage and order entry.
- Adjudicate unpaid third-party claims.
- Access Point Click Care and retrieve information from the facility eMAR.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports to request prescriptions for completion.
- Complete miscellaneous assignments given by the Director of Pharmacy.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Certified Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT)
- Pharmacy experience (>3 years)
- LTC experience (>1 year)
- Framework pharmacy software experience (>1 year)
