Job Description
Finance Controllership and Analysis
- Handle full financial and management accounting activities
- Responsible for the preparation of financial forecasts, regular reports, consolidation and ad hoc report
- Support external auditors in their examination of quarterly and year-end financial statements
- Compile monthly financial report to regulator and serves as the contact person for regulator concerning financial matters;
- Accurate analytics on budgets and strategic financial advice to the Country Manager and senior executives;
- Performance and analyze income drivers/ key costs of respective card products and thereby to identify revenue generating or cost savings initiatives to improve P&L.
- Assist to set appropriate individual sales target to align with strategic importance.
- Conduct regular analysis on the performance data of the various merchant segments with an aim of identifying opportunities for enhanced revenues.
- Provide timely and accurate merchant acquiring business information to other departments to meet business objective and resolve the queries relating to business reporting matters.
Accounting
- Manage month-end closing process
- Responsible for the local regulatory filings and compliance.
- Assist in formulating accounting policies and procedures to comply with local requirement
- Recommend improvements to process flow, processes and procedures for the market
- Plan and assist with internal and external audits.
- Assists in ad-hoc assignments and financial projects assigned by the management
The Successful Applicant
- BS/BBA, Finance degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years' experience in the similar job roles with proven results
- Experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Analysis role is a plus.
- Able to plan, organize and make effective communication to all types of audiences.
- Excellent organization, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills when dealing with internal teams.
- Self-motivated & adaptable to changing conditions in the workplace.
- Mature and independent, able to work well with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities.
- High achiever - able to deliver targets as required by the business.
- Good English and Chinese communication skills
