About the position:

The traditional wholesale business as we know it today is rapidly changing. At Norrøna we believe that the future of wholesale will rely on how brands and retailers effectively can streamline the operational cooperation in order to create the best possible consumer experience.

We are now looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team. As the Sales Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of our sales department, ensuring that all processes are followed and completed accurately and efficiently.

The Sales Operations Coordinator is a key role in the operation, and work closely with several of the company`s departments including Sales, RD&D, Finance, Marketing & Logistics. A majority of the business is driven by Norrønas`s export markets which require an interest, and preferably understanding of international markets to proficiently succeed in the role.

The position is a temporary backfill for a parental leave role.

This position reports to the Sales Director.

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory count process and inventory value of Norrønas salesman samples.
  • Ensure departmental processes and tasks included in the Norrøna operations timeline are followed up by department
  • Project management for new partner store projects
  • Supporting and coordinating sales activities including sell-in cycles.
  • Operational support for Norrøna's sales team, agents, and distributors, including monitoring and improving the distribution of sales reports and coordinating training initiatives.
  • Providing administrative assistance to Norrøna's sales leadership, including organizing sales meetings, tradeshows, conferences, and regular order management.
  • Coordinate sales collateral, training materials, and business development tools that include digital and printed material, product and brand education.
  • Manage the internal storage areas to the sales department.
  • A variety of administrative tasks critical to secure a lean and efficient sales operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with CRM and inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Specifically excel & google sheets.
