Job Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology for District Medical Group (DMG) is seeking applications for a fulltime anesthesiologist to be a part of the medical staff at Maricopa Medical Center (MMC). MMC is a community based, University affiliated teaching hospital, with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Clinical practice includes L&D, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR. About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year. In-house call is 4-5 times per month. Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students.
