Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 03/03/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA seeking immediate work in Arizona. Coverage is needed from March 3rd through 14th, with the possibili! ty to extend through the end of the month. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, from 7am - 3pm daily, with no call and no weekends. Cases are generally bread and butter, ENT, Ortho, and podiatry; the CRNA will not be doing OB, Cardiac, or Neuro cases. Travel and lodging are provided.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
