Description: Tucson Medical Center is looking of RN Labor and Delivery right now, this career will be presented in Arizona. We are a 28 bed high risk antepartum and intrapartum unit including 14 LDR beds, 10 antepartum outpatient beds, and 4 preop/postop beds. We care for triage patients; ante-partum patients; intrapartum, ! and preop and postop patients. We are a staff comprised of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, OB Techs, Patient Care Techs, Unit Associates, MA’s and ORAs. We have available wonderful providers and support staff on our unit including 24 hour perinatologists, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists. Our goal is to give safe and compassionate care. We strive to make sure our patients and families have a positive experience in the birth of their child.
The RN coordinates patient care planning with other disciplines utilizing the principles of the nursing process and critical thinking skills in order to maintain patient safety and well-being. (Some positions might be assigned to critical care areas requiring specialized training.)
