The following credentials are required to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist.
Graduation from an educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse
Anesthetists ’Council on Accreditation of Nurse
Anesthesia Educational Programs or a predecessor and that has the objective of preparing a nurse to practice nurse anesthesia
Current professional nurse license in the State of Arizona, in good standing
Successfully completed the certifying examination administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
Current Medicare provider certificate
Current certificate granting Prescribin! g Authority by the State of Arizona.
