The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking additional BC/BE faculty for full â€"time, par! t-time, or intermittent positions. Subspecialty training or extensive experience in the following areas is required: Cardiothoracic surgery to include open heart and pulmonary resections, Neurosurgery to include craniotomy and complex spinal reconstruction, and General Surgery Oncology to include solid organ and intestinal extirpation/reconstruction. Selectee will be responsible for the overall activities in Anesthesia including teaching of medical students and anesthesia residents, clinical duties in the operating room, and research activities if available and applicant is so inclined. Ability to work independently is a must.
