Description: Tucson Medical Center is currently seeking to employ Manager Labor and Delivery right now, this occupation will be settled in Arizona. Manager, Labor & DeliveryThe Labor & Deliver department is a 28 bed high risk antepartum and intrapartum unit including 14 LDR beds, 10 antepartum outpatient ! beds, and 4 preop/postop beds. We care for triage patients; ante-partum patients; intrapartum, and preop and postop patients. Our unit has approximately 6000 deliveries per year. Our goal is to give safe and compassionate care and we strive to make sure our patients and families have a positive experience in the birth of their child.
We are a staff comprised of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, OB Techs, Patient Care Techs, Unit Associates, MA†s and ORAs. We have available wonderful providers and support staff on our unit including 24 hour perinatologists, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists. This position will be responsible for the overall direction of the department along with the Assistant Manager.
