Assists the anesthesiologists by setting up supplies prior to surgical procedures. Assists anesthesiologists with insertion of arterial lines, epidural, spinal and regional blocks. Ma! intain equipment and supply levels for anesthesia care. Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff to provide timely room turn over and maintain OR daily schedule.
Special Skills:
Ability to adapt quickly to change in the work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
One year of hospital/surgical background or experience.
CPR required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge and experience in operating room procedures, anesthesia equipment and instrumentation preferred. Working knowledge of laser usage for urological, orthopedic and endoscopic specific procedures.
Laser certification.
