FULL TIME NURSE PRACTITIONER IN THE PPACU
AT FLAGSTAFF MEDICAL CENTER
This is a full time day position.
The Nurse Practitioner in the preadmissions clinic will provide expert knowledge in the ! assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients who have been scheduled for surgery. Working with anesthesiologists and surgeons, the NP will determine appropriate workup, follow-up, and ongoing assessment and care of patients in the perioperative process. This position cares for patients throughout the lifespan, from infants to the elderly.

REQUIRED QULAIFICATIONS:

• Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Arizona license as an APRN
• CNS- Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years experience in acute care and/or clinic environment preferred
