The Director Trauma Services directs and oversees the daily operations of the Trau! ma Program, acts as liaison for the hospital with other local and national trauma centers and organizations. S/he collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director, trauma surgeons, trauma anesthesiologists, and other trauma-related physicians, along with other healthcare professionals involved in trauma patient management to ensure smooth operations of the Trauma Service. S/he ensures quality of care and patient advocacy within the Trauma program. This position has Network leadership responsibilities for Pre-Hospital services as well as Emergency Preparedness program.
1. Provides daily supervision of staff and operations for respective areas.
2. Manages financial resources of the respective programs in a fiscally responsible manner
3. Participates in strategic planning for Trauma Services, Pre-Hospital services and Emergency Preparedness program
4. Ensures that Trauma Services meets all regulatory requirements for Level I Center
5. Oversees clinical develop! ment of multidisciplinary team
6. Directs the Network’s ! pre-hospital activities
7. Directs Emergency Preparedness program
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Verified current Arizona or other compact state RN license
- 3-5 years ED, ICU, CCU or Trauma
