Under the direction of the Lab Manager, the Lab Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day activities within the lab, which includes performing experiments related to molecular cloning, DNA/RNA isolation and PCR, gel electrophoresis, mutagenesis, and cell cultures. Maintain lab databases and record all experimental procedures. Assist with the maintenance and physical presence of laboratory.Percentage of Time:

Required/Preferred
Directly related education and experience in research specialization with highly advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures, analysis methods, principles, theories and concepts:
a) Skill in basic computer data acquisition procedures.
b) Procedures related to animal studies such as administering anesthetic and analgesic, administering drugs, and harvesting.
c) Histology including preparation and staining.
