Position description
The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking two Anesthesiologists. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiolo gy. Expertise required in full spectrum tertiary care case mix with particular interest in neuro or cardiac anesthesia. Fellowship training is preferred. Expertise in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is required for the cardiac position. Candidates with a strong track record of clinical research and teaching interest are encouraged to apply. This position includes an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
We provide adult care in the comprehensive management of anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as well as pre- and post-operative care of these patients. The department is comprised of 27 board certified physicians, 50 CRNA's, 9 residents, 10 anesthesiology techs and 4 PCAs who are committed to providing the highest level of clinical care.

Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona. Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Anesthesiology. Fellowship training or significant experience in Neuroanesthesia and/or Cardiothoracic Anesthesia preferred.
