You have three (3) or more years clinical nursing experience in trauma ser! vices that includes current/recent Level 1 trauma program management/director experience. You seek a new opportunity to lead a trauma service that provides high quality care delivered in a multidisciplinary setting with dual boarded critical care and general surgery surgeons at the lead.
If the above describes you, we would very much like to get to know you. We seek candidates for the role of Director of Trauma Services. In this role you will direct and oversee the daily operations of the Trauma Service, and act as a liaison for the hospital with other local and national trauma centers and organizations. You will collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director, trauma surgeons, trauma anesthesiologists, and other trauma-related physicians, along with other healthcare professionals involved in trauma patient management to ensure smooth operations of the Trauma Service. You will ensure quality of care and patient advocacy.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degre! e in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Arizona ! (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Preference given to candidates with an MSN. Must have current/recent experience in the supervision of trauma staff and operations in a Level 1 trauma program. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have demonstrated leadership skills.
